The Authorization Wizard can be used to install an authorization from an iLok License card. To use the Authorization wizard for a plug-In, perform the following steps:


* Locate and launch the 'xx Authorizer' found in the 'Authorize' folder in the plug-In package on the CDROM.
* The first dialog will allow the plug-In to be used for a trial period, or authorized by the iLok. Select the "Next" button to be guided through the authorization process.
* As of the HD Pro Tools 6.0-ready release, the "Try" option requires you to have first contacted the manufactuer to request a DEMO authorization from ilok.com If you are operating an OS9 system, there are special DEMO versions available on our home page that will automatically run for 14 days without assistance. This copy protection feature is provided for online users so they may download and begin using the plug-In immediately.
* Note that selecting the "Cancel" button will not authorize the plug-In, nor allow it to be used for the remainder of the trial period.
* Most plug-Ins require the user personalize their copy of the plug-In. A dialog is displayed soliciting this information.
* Once the plug-In is personalized, click the "Next" button to continue.
* The plug-In can be authorized from the iLok License Card included in the plug-In package.
