Q:
Can I run Traktor with two soundcards?
A:
We recommend to use multichannel audio hardware to have Master and Monitor in stereo. This ensures that all outputs are in sync with each other. But there is a workaround:
1. Download the Steinberg Cubase demo and install it. It brings you two ASIO drivers (ASIO DirectSound Driver, ASIO Multimedia Driver) which are able to run with every soundcard. 2. In the ASIO settings of these drivers you can see all installed soundcards. Activate them there and you can use Traktor with different audio cards using this driver. Please note that we do not feel responsible for that feature, if you have problems, rather think about a multichannel audio card.
