Q:
When i import the neccessary files only a small number are listed in my track collection section. Of the files that are listed the majority do not have artist and genre listed correctly if at all.
A:
Traktor on Mac will recognize mp3 files correctly if: - the ending of the file name is ".mp3" or - if the type is "MPG3" and creator is "hook" (=iTunes generated MP3 file) You can use the shareware "bunchtyper" (OS 9 software) which lets you change creator and type of a file. So you could boot your Mac under OS 9, download the software (available on the internet)and drag multiple files on the application "Bunchtyper". Go through the process of changing. Then Traktor will recognize the files.
