Q:
How can I Synchronize my Roland XP80 with External Devices?
A:
It is possible to synchronize the XP-80 to an external device in order to
match song positions in both devices or to have one device start and stop playback of the other device. Use the following procedure to synchronize and "slave" the XP-60/80’s sequencer to an external sequencer: 1) Press SEQUENCER. 2) Press F1 [SETUP]. 3) Use the CURSOR buttons to select "Sync Mode" and use the VALUE DIAL to select "Slave." 4) Set the external sequencer to transmit "MIDI clock."
