How do I sequene from an external sequencer with the Roland XP80 ?.

To use an external sequencer with the XP-80, make the following system settings:
First turn local and remote keyboard switches to "OFF." 1. Press SYSTEM. 2. Press F3 [MIDI] to select the "MIDI Param 1" page. 3. CURSOR to "Local Switch." 4. Use the VALUE Dial to set "Local Switch" to "OFF." 5. CURSOR Down to "Remote Keyboard Sw." 6. Use the VALUE Dial to set "Remote Keyboard Sw" to "OFF." Now set the Sequencer "Through" to "OFF." 1. Press SEQUENCER. 2. Press F1 [Setup]. 3. Press F6 [SEQ Sys]. 3. CURSOR to "Through." 4. Use the VALUE Dial to set "Through" to "OFF." Now you are ready to connect the XP-80 to your external sequencer. Connect the MIDI "Out" of the XP-80 to the MIDI "IN" of the sequencer and MIDI "In" of the XP-80 to the MIDI "Out" of the sequencer.
