Are there any known problems with the VIA Tech KT333 or KT400 chipsets for Athalon processors?

Yes, continuing with the history of VIA chipset incompatabilities and poor performance, the KT333 and especially the KT400 are no better. In fact, many users have complained of compatability or performance issues with the KT400 chipset. For this reason, we strongly recommend going with a purely Intel system including and Intel processor and Intel chipset.
