What are the steps for the CY-15R Set-up on the Roland TD10?
A:
The CY-15R can produce a sound from three areas of the cymbal. The BELL, BOW and EDGE. Certain settings must be made in the TD-10 for optimum performance. Use the following steps to properly set up the CY-15R for use with the TD-10.
NOTE: For the three positions of the CY-15R to function, the TDW-1 Expansion Board with V-Cymbal control must first be installed into the TD-10. 1. Connect the BELL/BOW output of the CY-15R to the RIDE(10) input on the TD-10 with the supplied Roland cable. 2. Connect the BOW/EDGE output of the CY-15R to the AUX 1 input on the TD-10 with the supplied Roland cable. 3. Press SETUP on the TD-10. 4. Press F1 three times. 5. Use the VALUE dial to select "TRIGGER BANK 2." 6. Press EXIT twice.
