Q:
My Roland G1000 Arranger Won’t Start Playing , why ?
A:
If the G-1000 Arranger won’t start playing (even though SYNCHRO START and
START/STOP are lit, and the TEMPO lights are flashing), check to make sure the sustain pedal is not plugged into the FOOT SWITCH or FOOT PEDAL jacks on the rear panel. Though the functions of these jacks are programmable, the default settings are "Arranger Start/Stop." When a pedal is connected to one of these jacks, the G-1000 is waiting for you to press the pedal to start the Arranger. To remedy this, always connect your sustain pedal to the input labeled SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH.
