Pro Tools aborts during launch with a MIDI filter -12 error
 
A:
This is most likely caused by corrupt preferences.
Take a look at the preferences folder:
Macintosh HD > Users > [MyUserName] > Library > Preferences
locate a file with the name DigiSetup.OSX and put it in the trash bin.
