Pro Audio Support

Q:
Ever since I downloaded the Spektral Delay update, Logic will no longer start up.

A:
Spektral Delay is trying to bring up a message window when Logic is booting. Unfortunately when Logic is using certain CoreAudio drivers this seems to cause Logic to crash. with other CoreAudio drivers used a message appears saying "def file could not be found".

At this moment the only method to fix this by avoiding that Spektral Delay lets a message pop up. :

Always make sure that you have the file

def.aif

and

def.sdb

in the directory that has recently been selected in the file browser of spektral delay. You can copy the files in there from the Presets folder (you should have copies the Presets folder from the OS 9 installation CD to the Spektral Delay folder or somewhere else).

To select the directory, press in Spektral Delay standalone the "file" button to open the file browser, then top right, there is a button with a folder icon on it. Press this button to select the directory.
