After using the Absynth update from the Native Instruments website. I go to the updated folder and all looks good, but when I try to Launch Absynth 2.04 I get the following message, "Application installation error. Please reinstall Absynth 2.04." After reinstalling the update, the message repeats itself.

Reinstalling the update will not help in this matter. What this usuallyy means is that your preference file became corrupt. This can easily happen. It requires you to install the application again, either from the downloaded .sit file or install cd.
Proceed by deleting your existing installed Absynth folders/files. Location Folder/file User/Library/preferences Absynth Folder, com.native-instruments.Ansynth2.plist User/Library/preferences Absynth 2.plist Mac HD/Applications Absynth Folder Mac HD/Librrary/audio/plugins/components/Absynth.bundle Mac HD/Librrary/audio/plugins/VST/Absynth2.vst After proceed by installing the 2.0/2.01 update and then applying the 2.04 .
