Symptom: CS boots and shows the normal Windows XP startup screen but then goes dark just before the desktop loads.

Cause: The dual-head video card thinks the primary monitor is attached to the other port.

Remedy: Shut down the machine. Boot up holding F8 to boot into 'Safe Mode' which should stay on the connected monitor. Right-Click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties". Choose "Hardware" and then "Device Manager". Disable the N-Videa driver. Reboot. The CS should boot all the way to the user desktop on the correct monitor port this time.
