Saving and Loading Performances on the Motif ES
A: The entire bank of Performances is saved to a Smart Media card (along with all the other data) when 'All' is chosen as the Save Type. However, when loading Performances back in, the user has a choice of loading the entire bank of Performances (by selecting the 'All' file), or loading individual Performances to specific locations. NOTE: The ability to load individual Performances is not available on Classic Motif's that have not been updated to OS version 1.7. Loading Performances: 1. Press the [FILE] button. 2. Press the [F3] 'LOAD' button. 3. Select the Type of data to be loaded: a. Select 'All' for the 'TYPE', in order to load the entire bank of Performances along with all the other data. i. Press the [ENTER] button to execute the load function. Reference: Motif6-7-8 Owner's Manual, p. 262-266 Motif ES6-7-8 Owner's Manual, p. 266 b. Select 'Performance' for the 'TYPE', in order to load an individual Performance to a specific location. i. Use the Cursor buttons and Data Dial to select a desired file in the right column. ii. Press the [ENTER] button. iii. Use the Cursor buttons and Data Dial to select an individual Performance in the right column. iv. Press the [ENTER] button. v. Use the Cursor buttons and Data Dial to select a 'USER' Performance location in the left column. vi. Press the [ENTER] button.
