Why does my Kurzweil keyboard make a small glitch or hiccup sound when I switch programs?
A:
This is an idiosyncrasy unique to the Kurzweil operating system. The best way around this is to only switch programs when there are a few seconds of silence between notes of two different programs on that MIDI channel. In other words, surrounding the program change with silence makes these glitches inaudible.
