I downloaded the new operating system from www.korgpa.com, decompressed the file, and copied the resulting *.EXE files into several floppy disks, but cannot make them work. Where is the problem?

You mustn't copy the *.EXE files to floppy disks – you must run them.
These *.EXE files are Windows PC executables, that will automatically create OS floppy disks for you. In addition to creating the disks, this procedure also tests data integrity, to be sure vital data will not be damaged by faulty disks or incorrect procedures.
