Q:
ProTools is giving the message, "Could not complete the Bounce to Disk command because Assertion in FF_AudioProperty.ccp, line 33" on Mac OSX.
A:
In many cases trashing ProTools Preferences and Digidesign Databases fixes this problem"
1. On the root level of every mounted hard drive, go into the Digidesign Databases folder and delete the "Volume.ddb" and "WaveCache" files. 2. Go to: MacHD > Library > Application Support > Digidesign > Databases > Volumes. Delete all of the files in this folder (they will have very odd names). 3. Go to: MacHD > Users > (your user name, aka "the house icon") > Library > Preferences. Delete the following files: - com.digidesign.protools.plist - DAE Prefs (entire folder) - Digisetup.OSX - ProTools...vX.x Preferences (this may be either ProTools LE or TDM, and any version, such as 6.4 or 6.9 or 7+).

Can WAV files from Acid be imported into Live? When I arm an audio track for recording within Logic, the corresponding fader on the ProjectMix I/O jumps to unity gain. Why is this? When I play a song in Ableton Live 5 that has volume level automation, the ProjectMix I/O's faders move along as they should. However, when I touch one of the moving faders, it stops moving and doesn't start again until I re-launch the software. Why is that and what can I do about it? The jog wheel on my ProjectMix I/O operates reversed. For example, when turning it clockwise it scrolls from right to left on my screen. Does the Focusrite Saffire support 192k sampling rate? |
