This error can potentially be caused by a problem with the CPU core's clock stability. Over time, the time stamps of the two cores can drift, cause Pro Tools to get inconsistent reading and post the -9093 error. AMD has posted a fix for this problem, called the "AMD Dual-Core Optimizer." It is available here: www.amd.com
