Digital transfer via S/PDIF output is not bit accurate at high sample rates (88.2 or 96 kHz) with Mbox 2 Pro set to external clock. Samples are dropped, especially when a FireWire drive is connected to the same bus as the Mbox 2 Pro.

Mbox 2 Pro does not support external sync at 88.2 and 96 kHz Sample Rates.

Although Pro Tools LE 7.1.2 and 7.1.3 allow you to select an external clock source at 88.2 kHz and 96 kHz sample rates, the Mbox 2 Pro does not support this
