Q:
I cannot get the MX-200 to sync to my Recording Software Tempo/ MIDI clock source.
A:
The MX-200 will sync to MIDI clock messages present on either the MX-200's MIDI input or via MIDI on the USB port. First, the recording application must be capable of and set to transmit MIDI clock signal. Second, if you choose the MX-USB MIDI port you will not have access to the VST control simultaneously. Using both MIDI sync and VST control of the MX-200 simultaneously will require an additional MIDI output port on your computer. Lastly, when MIDI sync is active the Tap Tempo LEDS on the MX-200 will be solid yellow (steady, not flashing).
