BIAS has implemented a web-based "challenge/response" system that can be used to authorize Peak Pro 5.2 and SoundSoap Pro 1.1.4 with out the USB protection key.

Peak Pro 5.x and SoundSoap Pro 1.x users will be able to authorize their computer using our new serial number-based authorization system introduced into Peak Pro 5.2.

Be sure you have updated your version of Peak Pro 5.x to Peak Pro 5.2 and/or your version of SoundSoap Pro 1.x to SoundSoap Pro 1.1.4. These free updates are available on the BIAS updates page:

This is a free update to all Peak Pro 5.x and SoundSoap Pro 1.x customers.

After installing the Peak Pro 5.2 update — simply remove the USB key, and launch Peak 5.2. The Authorization Manager will automatically launch.

After installing the SoundSoap Pro 1.1.4 update — simply remove the USB key and open the BIAS Authorization Manager.

On a Mac go to the Applications folder.
On Windows go to the BIAS folder in the Program files folder.
Follow the easy steps to authorize using the same serial number you previously used to authorize your USB key.
