Q:
My Korg MR1 gives a "Disk Too Busy" message, what should I do?
A:
Repeated actions of recording, writing, and deleting will gradually decrease the amount of contiguous free space on the hard disk, causing files to be saved in a fragmented state during recording. This message will appear when access to the drive has slowed down due to such problems.
To resolve this, try backing up your files and then reformat the hard disk. You can then restore your files back to the MR if you need to. Alternatively, delete unneeded files to increase the amount of free space, and then connect the MR-1 to your computer in USB mode and defrag the drive.
