I see an unusual light pattern on my JBL LSR 4300 speakers: the [RMC] and [SOLO] buttons are blinking and the meter is lighting sequentially from right to left. What does this mean?
A:
This light pattern indicates an error. You can look up these errors in Appendix F of the LSR User's Manual.
This particular error is RMC State, which is caused if the RMC process fails to complete. To remedy this, power-cycle the speakers (turn them off and back on), then perform RMC again. If the problem persists, perform the factory reset procedure and repeat the RMC calibration process.
