I hear high-pitched screeches, static, wrong-speed playback, and other weirdness through my Alesis MultiMix. What can I do about this?

Adjust your latency settings in the MultiMix control panel. You will find this panel in Windows under Start>All Programs>Alesis MultiMix. On Mac, the control panel can be found through System Preferences, or through AudioMIDI Setup.
