Q:
I cannot find my Keyboard listed in my Protools Midi Studio Setup list..
A:
The Midi Studio setup list has Keyboard Brand Names e.g.
Korg, and then model names e.g. Triton If your model is not listed, a good solution is to search the internet using the Brand Name ex. "Roland" and then the model name e.g. Triton and then the work "midnam" MidNam is the name of the type of Midi Preset patch list that protools uses. Once you fine the "midnam" file, simply drag and drop it ( with Protools closed) into the Digidesign/MIDI Patch Names folder inside of the brand folder e.g. Roland folder In Windows the path is C:/ProgramFiles/CommonFiles/Digidesign/Midi Patch Names/"Brand" Restart Protools and you Keyboards Preset list will appear!
