ProTools on a Mac gives -6085 errors immediately on playback. All of the other knowledgebase solutions have failed to fix the problem.

In at least one case, resetting the Mac's PMU, SMU or SMC has fixed the problem. Check this knowledgebase or apple.com for specific instruction for each model.
