Q:
M20 software loading problems M20 software loading problems
A:
I was having problems (Nightmares) loading Macintosh and P.C.versions of M20 O.S. software. Alesis suggests many types of
MIDI programs will work, but I tried several brands with no success. The software file is SYSEX data loaded in a MIDI sound file. This is a little unusual and the file is quite large. The memory size of the MIDI application will have to be selected to hold a minimum of 2500k and a maximum of 5000k to work. I verified the following to work: Please recomend your customers to use only "Freeloader with Macintosh and "Cakewalk" with P.C.(Freeloader is available free on the Alesis websight where the software is located.) .Due to the specific nature of the M20 software, I would not attempt other MIDI programs. Thanks! -GPB
