Q:
Why does my Aardvark not work well in my new Dell Pentium 3 or 4?

A:
The new Dells have been found to have a problem with the Aardvark cards and the built-in network card. To check this, go to your Aardvark control panel, and check the PCI bus efficiency. It should be greater than 90%. If it is in the single digits, it will most likely not work correctly. Go into the BIOS by hitting F2 when the computer first turns on, and disable the built-in network card. This will also speed up the booting process greatly. See our PC Optimization Guide online for more steps to streamline your system. So far, we have seen this problem with most Dell Pentium 4 computers and Dell Optiplex Pentium 3s.
