Q:
Is it possible to bounce ST to separate midi to audio tracks
all @ once within DP/Cub/ PT....
A:
Yes.. in theory this is possible.. for example in DP it's possible to set
the first 4 channels (midi) to outs 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and route (in DP) these signals to 4 stereo tracks. Recording them all together will make the first 4 midi channels to be printed in audio all at once.. in PT SampleTank can't assign its separated outputs.. so this is not possible, unless the user doesn't uses more instances.. but this is very CPU taxing. Even in Logic ST can't uses sep outputs (we all are waiting for the v5..!!) so it won't be able to bounce more than one channel per instance at once.. and in Cubase it seems that the host can't record audiotracks from the groups.. (only physical inputs) .. So, the answer to the question is yes, but only in DP and up to 4 stereo or 8 mono.
