Pro Tools 4.x requires OMS 2.x or later for MIDI functionality. (previous versions of FreeMIDI emulated OMS 1.x).FreeMIDI 1.31 includes an OMS Emulator which emulates OMS 2.x It's a new version which improves compatibility with System 7.6 and 7.6.1. In addition, this version contains an update version of OMS Emulator for Pro Tools 4 inter-application synchronization (for transmitting MTC from Pro Tools 4 to Performer 5.5, for example). Please note: this version only adds sync support for Pro Tools 4; it does not add full OMS 2.x support. It is currently available from MOTU's website: www.motu.com
