Q:
"Error -44 while attempting to deauthorize. The disk is write protected." when launching the deauthorize program. After clicking OK, and the deauth program quits.
 
A:
This error could indicate that the user has booted from a CD ROM. If needed, install an OS to an external drive and boot from that.
