Why does the Analog LED on inputs 1/2 flash on an 888|24?
A:
This indicates that the unit is in stand-alone mode. The 888|24 defaults to this mode when powered up. It is brought out of this mode when it is initialized, either by the DigiSystem INIT while booting the Mac (if a valid DigiSetup file exists), or by opening and closing the Hardware or Playback Engine dialogs in Pro Tools.
