Q:
Audio tracks with Waves plug-ins play for about a minute and then cut out. The session continues to play and no error messages are posted.
A:
If for any reason the Waves dongle is not seen by the computer, it will send all of the Waves plug-ins into DEMO MODE. Demo mode works for 90 seconds and then will stop passing audio on any channels with Waves plug-ins instantiated. the slightest movement of the key can "fake out" the computer, making it appear as if there is no key attached, even after the computer recognizes the key during the initial launch of Pro Tools.User experienced this behavior after opening and playing a 4.x session (4.0.1) in PT 5.0.
