You must use OS 9.0.4, if you have an earlier version of OS 9 you can get the software update on the apple web site to go up to 9.0.4You must also upgrade quicktime to at least version 4.1.2 from the apple web site.run the software update control panel and it will install the necessary software updates.After installing the update you should be able to chose the 001 in the Digidesign control panel>setup hardware. Then in the sound control panel set the sound output to digidesign.Now when you play an audio CD it will play thru the 001.
