Destructively recording over an existing region when zoomed in could result in the original Overview being displayed for the new audio.
A:
Pro Tools 5.0.1 (and earlier) is prone to this. Fixed in 5.1.

Undoing an edit on a MIDI selection will cause the new selection to be lost. Pro Tools becomes very sluggish when the session contains lots of MIDI data. File Conversion and Audio Suite processes on Pro Tools Windows (NT and 98) do not write a time stamp to the new file. Also potentially applies to AIFF files on the Mac. Consolidate Selection doesn't write muted MIDI regions as silence. Attempting to create a Fade Out or Fade In where 2 regions are butted together instead creates a Crossfade between the 2 regions. |
