How do I set up my Yamaha O2/R digital mixer to behave as a Midi controller for Pro Tools so as to control fader and mute automation?

1) Go to MIDI page of 02R and set to Pro Tools. 2) In OMS Setup define a device on the Midi interface port named O2/R, with characteristics controller=on, multitimbral=off, receive channel=1, send/receive MMC, MTC, Midi beat Clock all off.3) Make sure the O2/R and the interface it is connected to are on the list and checked from Midi -> Input Devices in Pro Tools.4) Go to Setup -> Peripherals -> Midi Controllers in Pro Toolsand set to MM-16, send to and receive from O2/R.You should now be able to control fader and mute automation from the O2/R.
