On a Windows machine, when using the "Consolidate Selection" from the Edit Menu, an error message appears: "Access Denied" .

Audio Regions have become write protected.Changing the regions to "Archive" will prevent error message:1) Open Audio Files Folder for the Pro Tools' session.2) Edit Menu > Select All.3) Right-click on one region > Properties > General Tab.4) Deselect "Read Only" and select "Archive". 5) Press "Apply" and "OK". 6) Launch Pro Tools and try "Consolidate Selection" again. All should be fine.7) If error message appears again find out if the audio being consolidated was imported into this Pro Tools session. If so, locate the imported audio regions on Hard Drive and do the steps above to make sure they are not write protected.
