Q:
When I turn on my Control|24, the LEDs are not lighting/displaying properly; some are staying lit up indefinitely and some are not lighting up at all. In some cases Pro Tools will not be able to communicate with the Control|24.
 
A:
The voltage is not set properly on the back of your Control|24. In the United States and Canada, the voltage selector / fuse holder on the C|24 should be inserted so that "120" is at the top.Normal behavior on power-up (at the time of this entry, 11/7/2001) of the C|24, is that all LEDs turn on and stay lit for a few seconds. Then the LEDs will turn off except for the LEDs in the Transport Counter window which will read "OFFLINE" until Pro Tools establishes communication with the Control|24.
