Rampant 6042 errors when using the Magma 2 slot chassis and a new G4 Titanium Powerbook.
 
A:
The newest G4 Powerbook's ( 550 and 667 Mhz) require OS 9.2.1 - minimum. These cpu's and OS 9.2.1 have not been qualified by Digidesign to work with a Magma 2 slot chassis or with any Digidesign hardware.The previous models (400 and 500 Mhz), along with OS 9.1, work fine and are qualified.This information was written 11/9/2001.
