Pro Tools NT 5.0.1 communication with the Mackie HUI is interrupted as soon as a Plug-In using MIDI is instantiated. For example Virus or Bruno/Reso will cause HUI to go offline almost immediately.

This is a know issue with Pro Tools 5.01 for NT.
