Q:
Why do I have only 4 AES/EBU inputs (instead of 8) in a 192 khz session?

A:
192K requires two AES/EBU channels for every one inputbringing the number of available AES channels from 8 to 4.This is called "dual wire" mode. In this mode the left channel is fed down one AES pair and the right channel is fed down the second AES pair. Thus, it is only possible to do 4 simultaneous channels of AES at 192kHz.
