Setting up the ProControl to trigger the TALKBACK switch remotely.

The TALKBACK switch on the Pro Control can be triggered remotely by using a foot switch.The SWITCH 1 and SWTICH2 Prefs choices let you configure the polarity and function of both footswitch inputs. Press UTILITY>PREFS>SWITCH1 or SWITCH2 to access their respective settings pages. configure the Polarity for your switch(es), then choose a functionThere are two general -purpose footswitch inputs (for momentary footswtiches) on the rear panel (SW1 and SW2) that are used for general transport control. Either footswitch can control Play/Stop, Punch in/out, or Talkback. In addition, the polarity of each switch can be reversed.To configure the Footswitch (SW1 and SW2) parameters:-On you Main Unit press UTILITY>PREFS>SWITCH1 or SWITCH2 (the options are the same for both). Now select the Polarity (+or -) and function for the selected switch (PLAY/STOP, RECORD OR TALKBACK).
