Q:
MOTU Issue: Saving user presets in the MTP XT
A:
1. Open the console and go into the presets window.
2. Choose a user preset so it is active, now make any changes in your XT console. 3. In the mini menu of the presets window select save to preset.Name your preset. 4. In the file menu choose save as. Here you can save the preset as a document in your express console folder of the hard drive. 5. You can either open the preset from the folder directly by clicking on it, or you can choose the preset by opening the console and clicking on the user preset you want. 6. On the XT you choose your saved presets by changing the bank button to user presets and use the select button to choose which number setup you want. In the console it is 0-7 on the XT it is 1-8. 7. If you still are uncomfortable try this test. With the console open choose different presets in the console or on the XT with the select button. You should see either the consoles current preset or the lights on the XT change in relationship to what you pick. ex. If you highlight a preset in the console you should see the red light on the XT change to the corresponding number.
