Q:
I want to import my iTunes playlist into Traktor. How do i do that?
A:
Unfortunately, Traktor does not support the iTunes playlist file. What you can do is:
1. Scan your harddisk for any existing mp3 files. This will import any mp3 files into your "collection". Note: Traktor does this the first time it is opened. You only need to do this if you have added more files to your computer. To do this manually drag an entire harddisk or any other media over the "collection" icon. Traktor will scan for any usable music files in this location. 2. drag your iTunes music folder to the "collection" in the Traktor browser. Alternatively, you can use the right click function (PC), command-click (MAC) to add the folder/file to your collection. *also see page 49 in your Traktor manual.

Can I run Traktor with two soundcards? MachFive isn't showing up in a DP3 midi track after I've inserted it as a plugin on an Aux track. DP4's Input monitoring mode no longer has "Direct Hardware Playthrough" as an option for my PCI324 card based interface (2408mkII, 1224,etc) I would like to know if Tracktor will be suporting the MPG4/AAC codec. When i import the neccessary files only a small number are listed in my track collection section. Of the files that are listed the majority do not have artist and genre listed correctly if at all. |
