Q:
How can I get the sample rate on my Digidesign Digi002 or Digi002R to switch within Cakewalk Sonar 3 or 4? It seems to jump back to the previous sample rate when using ASIO drivers.
A:
You need to get the audio engine running in Sonar for it to actually switch the sample rate of the Digi002 interface. Basically, turn input echo on, record-enable a track, or start playback and it will follow the sample rate set in Options-Audio-General under New Project Settings.
