Q:
Why does my Steinbert Groove Agent stop playing randomly or after the first bar when using it as a Cakewalk Sonar plugin?
A:
This is a known issue with the included Cakewalk VST adapter 4.x. There is a different VST to DirectX wrapper called DirectXer (you can do a Google search for the website) which is supposed to work fine and even includes MIDI output capability. You can download a trial demo version at their website.
