Q:
In Digidesign Pro Tools 6.x, how can I insert a measure into a MIDI track and have all the other Audio/MIDI move over too?
A:
Here's one way to do it:
1. Go to Grid Mode 2. Highlight Edit Groups - All (so all tracks will insert) 3. Select the starting location of the insert, drag to highlight the amount to insert (e.g. 2 measures we'll say) 4. Select Shuffle Mode 5. Go to Edit - Insert Silence This will insert 2 measures of silence onto all Audio & MIDI tracks.
