How do I sync a Yamaha AW16G to ProTools?
A:
Connect computer’s midi out to AW16G Midi In.
In the AW16G Utility>Midi Menu, Set MMC and MTC to Slave Mode. Verify that DEV is 1. In ProTools, Setups>Perpherals>Machine Control, Enable and set to the midi port that the AW16G is connected. Set ID to 1. In ProTools, Windows>Show Session Setup, Open Time Code Settings>Generator Choose MTC to Port: set to the midi port that the AW16G is connected.
