Q:
Final Cut freezes when it get's to a plugin that I don't even use in Final cut.
A:
In one case moving that Plugin's Componant out of the MacHD>Library>Audio>Plugins>Componant folder and into the MacHD>Users>[name]>Library>Audio>Plugins>Componant folder solved the problem.

"...you do not have sufficient access privilages" When recording in ProTools 6.7 with Mac OSX, the application will freeze with a spinning "beach-ball" when I hit STOP. After upgrading to Pro Tools 6.9 or 7.x, when I double click a template file (stationery pad) I'm not promted with the request to make a new session. This worked fine in previous versions. A Pro Tools 6.x session created on a different system will open on Mac OSX ProTools system, but I can't "Consolidate" regions or use Audiosuite plugins. When I try one of those operations, Pro Tools shows a DAE error -7401. My Alesis Masterlink comes up with a System Error: Corrupted Playlist, HDCD to reset. What can I do? |
