Q:
I burned a CD on my BOSS/Roland DAW, and my CD player only plays the first track. Why?
A:
This could possibly be due to an incompatibility in the way the unit burns CDs. Some BOSS and/or Roland units utilize a function called "Track-at-Once." This means that each track is burned independently of the others; the laser physically stops between each track. This can cause some CD players to stop after the first track. This type of CD player is only designed to read "Dick-at-Once" CDs, in which the entire CD is burned at one time, with no breaks between tracks.
There is no way around this issue. A possible solution would be to copy your CD onto a computer, and use a Disk-at-Once burner and software to burn a Disk-at-Once CD. This CD should now work properly in your computer.
