It is highly recommended for Windows XP SP2 users to follow these steps before installing their Waves plug-ins or bundles.
Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only: 1. Right-Click on the ‘My Computer’ icon and choose Properties. 2. Go to ‘Advanced’ Tab. 3. In the ‘Performance’ box click on ‘Settings’, go to the ‘Data Execution Prevention’ Tab. 4. Choose "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only". 5. Hit Apply, hit OK.
